these pictures, taken by gene lemuel in 1988, are part of a larger exhibit at the danziger projects called the kate moss portfolio and other stories.

a glimpse at a fourteen-year old kate and you could see that she already had IT.  even then.  twenty-three years later...she continues to allure, captivate and mesmerize.  when she looks into the camera, it's hypnotic.

pristine, ethereal, slightly cold.  precisely what i would expect gwyneth's tribeca loft to look like.

my baby posting moratorium lasted all of five days but if anyone was going to break me, it was going to be the spawn of kate moss.

long live mcqueen

this year, the metropolitan museum of art's costume institute celebrates the work of alexander mcqueen.   entitled savage beauty, the retrospective will feature more than 100 pieces of work from his postgraduate collection in 1992 to his last runway presentation, which took place after his death in February 2010.

fortunately, his legacy will continue to live on with sarah burton, creative director of the brand and mcqueen's right hand woman for the last 14 years.
